rulebreaking

I’m taking a course on Writing for the Web.  So far, it is what I was looking for: motivation to structure and sharpen focus, to extend reach, and to make lots of creative connections.  What I’m learning?

How to unapologetically GRAB ATTENTION.

How to KEEP IT SIMPLE, using “your” vocabulary, not mine.

How to NOT ASK MUCH of you as you go about your day.

All fairly useful guidelines, but, I’m going to break the rules of course, because I don’t want to squander the inherent joy and simple energy of showing up and allowing.

Certainly, I want to learn new things, stretch every expectation, and especially, I want to stay ready to leap into new experiences, “unlearning isolation.”

I guess I’ll have to blend the approaches.
